15 Queer Couples Only True Comic Fans Know About
Up until depressingly recently, all comic book characters were straight. Sure, there have been rumors about various characters for decades, but these swells of speculation never ventured farther than the imaginations of the readers, or perhaps fan fiction published in fanzines. This homogeneous straightness presents two problems: First of all, it's just plain boring. Who wants to interpret about the alike types of characters all the time? And second, lgbtq+ fans often locate it difficult to be constantly bombarded with straight nature after straight nature for years on end. If superheroes are for everyone, shouldn't they stand for everyone as well?
The answer to that is, obviously, no duh. And recently, greater and greater strides have been made in that direction. While there's still plenty of room for improvement, the number of queer characters is steadily rising, as is the number of queer characters in romantic relationships. Marvel Comics' First Queer Couple Revealed – But It Doesn't End Well

In last week's Avengers #26, set in the dawn of man, as part of the Avengers 1,000,000 BC storylines, we got to meet the first superhero of Soil, sixty-six million years ago, as a result of the asteroid that knock Earth and wiped out the dinosaurs. Well, almost all the dinosaurs. Because one got successful and, courtesy of the same asteroid, became the first superhero of the Marvel Universe, a Tyrannosaurus Rex, the first wielder of the Star Identity in the Marvel Earth. And who seemed to apply the Star Brand's power to dwell for sixty-five million years – or at least somehow had progeny that he/she could hand over the Star Trademark along, long after dinosaurs died out.
But we also saw what happened next. Who inherited the Star Brand after the Tyrannosaurus and would become the first proto-human superhero of the Marvel Universe and link the Avengers 1,000,000 BC.
